Bonjour,
I have installed and registered, but on every attempt to use the product, I am blacklisted. The software returns message " 1 website and 0 pages scanned" with a "blacklisted " message in the right hand column. This has happened three consecutive times with completely different websites in different countries ( used a s a test) and with either default or custom settings. Your advice is needed please. Thanks in advance.

Hello !

The blacklist message in the site view doesn't indicate that you're blacklisted but the site you attempt to scan is in blacklist. You can edit the blacklist in the "settings" ribbon tab...

Best regards,
Pierre

Thanks for your quick answer Pierre. The Blacklist doesn't contain a reference to the sites I tested ( not directly, perhaps in an obscure way?) and also the rules are not enabled, so I am not sure what changes I should make. Can you suggest how to proceed? Also can you explain why the first two rules have pink icons ( because they have a description?) Thanks

Hello camino51!

First of all, sorry for our english documentation which is almost nonexistent right now (all the documentation for the *Walker suite will be fully translated in 2-3 monthes). I think a lot of your questions could be answered with this (future) documentation.
Nevertheless, regarding the "gear color" for rules, you can read the "Regular expressions manager and editor" in support / documentation of this site.
Regarding your session with blacklisted url, there is a test to do : disable blacklisting in the options (process/walking). Is there a change in the scanning result ?

Hi Pierre,
Thanks for the answer. I disabled the blacklist, and yes, now it runs and collects. So why would I not be able to use this function?
I guess we can manage with the French instructions, but as this is an EN forum...well, you have some work to do ;)
Do I get an award for being the first to post? LOL
Thanks for your help

I don't know why. Maybe something strange in the url. Did you try with another url? Did you try to alternatively disable rules to identify which of it match your url?
Don't hesitate to send me your session file (.wslx file), i will look to find what is going wrong...
